Founder's Story
I've spent more than 25 years in aircraft transactions, working across every part of the process—from sourcing and evaluating aircraft to negotiating and closing complex deals.
Over time, one thing became clear.
Too many buyers were stepping into transactions without truly having someone on their side.
In this industry, it's common for advisors to represent both sides of a deal, or to be compensated in ways that aren't always obvious to the buyer. Most clients don't realize that until they're already deep into a transaction—and by then, it can cost them.
I saw it happen more than once. Good people making significant investments, without fully aligned representation.
That didn't sit right with me.
So I made a decision: build a firm that represents aircraft buyers—and only buyers. No listings. No dual representation. No conflicting incentives.
At Jet Acquisitions, our responsibility is simple. We help clients make confident decisions by bringing clarity to a complex process. That means understanding how you actually intend to use the aircraft, identifying the right opportunities, and guiding you through each step—from initial search to closing and delivery.
This is a relationship business. Most of our clients come through referrals, and many we've worked with more than once. That only happens when people know you're in their corner.

Founders
Chip & Amy McClure
Chip McClure is the founder of Jet Acquisitions and has spent more than 25 years in aviation. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in hundreds of aircraft acquisitions and has built a reputation for practical advice, deep industry knowledge, and a straightforward approach to business.
Chip and his wife, Amy, founded Jet Acquisitions in 2015 and have called Franklin, Tennessee home since 2021. Together, they share a large blended family that includes seven children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Outside of aviation, Chip is active in his church, enjoys spending time with his family, and is always looking forward to his next pheasant hunt. He believes that relationships matter, integrity is non-negotiable, and that life is about far more than airplanes.

Sam Ray
Sam is as passionate about flying as he is about the aviation industry. He loves the Lord, sitting in the cockpit, playing pickle ball, and hanging with family and friends. He is a natural born leader, college graduate, loyal, and always willing to go the extra mile to serve others with excellence and integrity.
